Simple exercise with a mop!

Take a well needed break from your work at home, grab a mop and enjoy! A short and simple mobility session that you can do wherever you are.

After a long time in front of your computer it is always nice to get up for some stretch. Here are four exercises, easy to do at home with a mop, broomstick or whatever you have available. Perfect for stiff hips and upper back. 10 repetitions of each exercise and stay in the position as long as it feels good. 

1. Shoulders + upper back


Lower the chest towards the floor. Keep the neck neutral and straight arms. 

2. Core rotation


Neutral back and neck. Make sure to keep contact with the stick and your shoulder blades throughout the whole exercise. 

3. Inner thighs + side bend


Same distance between the ears and arms och both side, with the neck in a straight line of the side bended back. 

4. Ankles and upper back

 
Try to keep the whole soles of your feet on the floor, lower your shoulder blades and keep your arms straight.


It has to be fun if you are going to exercise the rest of your life.
